Summary of Position
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of entry level clerical accounting functions in one or more of the following areas: general accounting, accounts receivable, and/or accounts payable. These functions include compiling and sorting documents, calculating and verifying amounts, posting transactions to accounts and performing other responsibilities as directed.

Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 Year Accounting Degree or Certificate preferred
 
Required Skills
  • Basic accounting skills required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task; detail oriented
  • Strong work ethic + problem-solver
  • Professional & courteous telephone manner
  • Flexible & able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, trustworthy & reliable
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members and customers
  • Computer Skills: Must have advanced computer skills
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and implement ideas contained in technical documents, reports, regulations, etc. Ability to assist staff, customers, and all who have inquiries in seeking information. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members. Must speak, read and write English fluently.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtractions, multiplication, division, percentages, decimals and fractions.
 
Compensation: $13.00 – $15.00 per hour starting wage DOE
Benefits: 85% paid Medical & Dental, 100% paid Vision, Short & Long Term Disability & Life Insurance!  $150 Company Allowance, PTO, 7 Paid Holidays, Birthday Off! 
Work Hours: Full Time, M-F 8am-5pm (flexible)
Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license, clean shaven, ability to pass drug test and criminal background check and clean driving record
